2. Data Collection and Telemetry

The Pinnacle App does not collect, harvest, store, or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or user telemetry to external servers.

All device configurations, operational photoperiod schedules, slider levels, and sensor readings operate strictly in local memory and local offline cache on your device and the connected hardware nodes.

3. Device Permissions & Bluetooth Usage

To communicate with physical Pinnacle hardware nodes, the app requires access to device communication interfaces:

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) / Web Bluetooth: Used exclusively to discover, pair with, and transmit local control commands (such as dimming levels, photoperiod schedules, and sensor queries) directly to nearby Pinnacle controllers.
Nearby Devices / Location: On certain Android operating system versions, Android requires permission to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. We do not track, log, or record your physical GPS location.

4. Third-Party Services & Analytics

The Pinnacle App does not integrate any third-party tracking libraries, behavioral analytics suites, or third-party advertising SDKs. The app is designed for enterprise and local operational control without cloud dependencies.

5. Offline Operation & Security

The application is built to function fully in offline and air-gapped industrial environments. Configuration data saved by the user is retained locally on the device or directly within the hardware node's non-volatile flash storage.
